Volleyball

 

Whitewood offers Jr. boys and girls volleyball and a Sr. boys and girls volleyball.  The junior program runs during the fall allowing students from 6-9 to play in a competitive sport learning to be responsible, how to manage time and how to be leaders in the school.  Our senior programs also run in the fall but are for the grade 10- 12 students, its a great opportunity for the students to show off their skills and grow from children to adult leaders in our community.

 

Senior Girls Volleyball Team

 

Whitewood School's volleyball season runs from the first week of September until the middle of November.  Traditionally, we have provided opportunities for students to play on both junior and senior volleyball teams.​ We offer a competitive senior volleyball program to grade10 to 12 girls.  The team usually competes in at least five invitational tournaments each season.  The season culminates with a Conference playoff, a Regional playoff and a Provincial championship.
