Principal's Message

Whitewood School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 facility located in the heart of Whitewood, Saskatchewan. We are proud to serve a projected enrolment of approximately 252 students with the support of a committed team of 17.55 full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers, including a vice-principal, and 10.87 FTE support staff. Together, we create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Guided by our mission, Success for All Students, and our vision, Here to Grow, Whitewood School is committed to helping each student become a caring, competent, and responsible citizen who values education and lifelong learning. We believe that when students are supported by a collaborative and caring team of educators and community professionals, they are empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Our school offers a strong academic program as well as diverse Practical and Applied Arts (PAA) courses, including Welding, Robotics, Hairstyling & Esthetics, Outdoor Education, Photography, Forensic Science, and more. These opportunities allow students to explore their interests, develop real-world skills, and prepare for future success.

Outside the classroom, Whitewood School provides a range of extra-curricular opportunities, such as volleyball, basketball, golf, curling, track and field, cross country running, badminton, and student leadership through our Student Leadership Council.
